Pack Snack Attack FUNdraiser Information

Each year Pack 193 offers opportunities for Scouts to “pay their way” to Summer Camp with a spring FUNdraiser.  The spring FUNdraiser is designed to help parents offset the cost of Summer Camp and in the past, we have had many Scouts pay for a week or two in full by participating in the spring FUNdraiser.  PLEASE REMEMBER, THIS FUNDRAISER IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, if you are all set and can send your Scout to Summer Camp, you do not have to participate.

Your Scout receives 100% of the commission from this sale, Pack 193 does not see a dime of this FUNdraiser.  It benefits the Scout directly.  Once the sale is over and the orders/money has been turned in, the commission will go directly into your Scout’s Scout Account.

This year we are doing our first ever Pack Snack Attack for Summer Camp FUNdraiser where Scouts (and parents) will have Take-Order forms and will be offered Show and Sell opportunities.  How does it work?  Glad you asked!

Take-Order Option

Take-Order forms will be available at the March 5 Den Meetings.  Once you get the Take-Order form, start selling!  Have your Scout bring it to school, parents can take it to work, ask family members and more.

There are three different snacking options on the order form; 6 flavors of Country Meat Sticks, 40 different Halladay’s dip, soup and cheesecake mixes and 9 Whitley’s Nut Factory flavors and 2 Military donations your customers can choose from.  The prices range from $1.00 – $50.00 so you have tons of options to sell.

Scouts will receive 35% - 50% commission depending on the product sold.  This will be put directly into your Scout’s Scout Account once the money has been turned in.

Take-Orders, forms and money are due April 16 at the Den Meetings.  This is the latest you can turn in orders as we have to place the orders the following morning.

Show & Sell Option

We have set up Show & Sell opportunities for the Scouts as well.  There will be eight days between March and April with three 2 hour shifts that can accommodate up to 3 Scouts each shift.

Sign ups for the Show & Sells will be at the Den Meetings on March 5.

We are ordering product in to have on hand for the Show & Sells.  The mixes and nuts will have a limited assortment; the meat sticks will have a wide variety of flavors.

Each Scout that signs up for a Show & Sell shift should be in uniform and MUST HAVE A PARENT/GUARDIAN WITH THEM.

The commission from the Show and Sells will be divided evenly among the Scouts based off of how many shifts they work.  The more shifts they sign up form, the more they receive.  Please limit to 2 shifts to begin with so that everyone has a chance to sign up.

Important Dates to Remember

April 1, 2020 – Campership Applications are due
May 1, 2020 – Early Bird Deadline.  If camp is paid for after May 1, the cost goes up $30.
April 16, 2020 – Snack Attack Take-Orders are due
April 30, 2020 – Product will be available to delivery at our Pack Meeting
July 27-31, 2020 – Pack 193’s Cub Scout Day Camp Week at Camp Split Rock
August 9-12, 2020 – Pack 193’s Webelos Resident Camp Session at Camp Wanocksett (your Webelos can attend the full week too)
